TASTING ROOM
Our tasting room is the beating heart of the village and lives in a beautiful restored stone barn dating from the 1850s. Our wines are available to taste in our structured flights, accompanied by some cheese and charcuterie. Open 7 days, bookings are recommend for our wine flights and essential for our Kitchen Garden Lunch.
Please note - we are a cash-less tasting room and only accept cards for payment.
CLASSIC FLIGHT | $30 per person
Taste the best of the 'Kin by Alkina' range. Five wines + cheese and charcuterie (allow 60 minutes).
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT | $50 per person
Drawing fine wines from Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards, you can explore some of the world's finest terroirs, all from the comfort of your seat. 5 rotating wines from Australia, Argentina, Italy, USA and Uruguay, plus cheese and charcuterie (allow 60 minutes).
PLATE AND GLASS
Alongside our seated tastings is the option to simply book a table to enjoy the Alkina range, small plates and charcuterie.
KITCHEN GARDEN
Our Kitchen Garden Lunch is available on Saturday and Sunday for groups over 10 at $75 per head. Cynthia and her team prepare creative seasonal dishes from our Organic Kitchen Garden, along with hot snacks, cheeses, charcuterie, and local sourdough. All dietaries can be catered for, please advise at time of booking. Please email info@alkinawine.com to check availability.
EXPERIENCES
POLYGON EXPERIENCE | $100 per person
Immerse yourself in a guided micro-terroir flight of the rare wines that make up our Polygon Project: Polygon 3 Grenache and Polygon 5 Grenache, as well as the Old Quarter Grenache Shiraz Mataro and Striato Shiraz. Enjoy a glass of Bodega Garzon Sparkling wine on arrival and a cheese and charcuterie plate with the tasting. After the tasting we’ll take a short walk to a soil pit to understand the project and the terroir more closely. Pre-bookings only, 2 hours duration, minimum 2 people.
ROCK HAMMER TASTING | $250 per person
Start with a glass of chilled Champagne Charles Heidsieck on arrival while we introduce you to our organic and biodynamic farm. This is followed by a structured and guided tasting of the rare wines that make up our Polygon Project: Polygon No. 3 Grenache and Polygon No. 5 Grenache, as well as the Old Quarter Grenache Shiraz Mataro, Striato Shiraz and our Kin range. Afterwards you’ll enjoy our fresh, seasonal Kitchen Garden Lunch Menu with accompanying wines, followed by a cheese board.
We will visit one of our unique soil pits so that you can really understand our micro-terroir approach, before moving to the winery for a Polygon tasting from concrete eggs and tulips. All of this is accompanied by a detailed Polygon Project booklet for you to take away. Pre-bookings only, 4 hours duration, minimum 2 people.
