Tasting Notes
The Kin rosé shows the tremendous versatility of the Grenache grape. This wine is dry and rich in flavour but with precise, clean lines and lovely fresh acidity.
Vineyard Notes
Some older vine fruit as well as young vine material from Block 22 provided the perfect fruit for this style of wine. NASAA certified organic and biodynamic.

“Fragrant, peachy, tangy and soft at the same time. Lively rose of even, balanced feel, no hair out of place, quintessential stuff delivering good freshness, refreshment factor, drinkability and relatable charm. Rose water, strawberry, watermelon juice, faint vanilla cream. Fruity, fun, on the money".

“The Rose comes from younger Grenache vines that were planted in 2016. Delicate pink hue with lifted aromatics of rhubarb, rose hip and fresh picked strawberry. There is a very delicate note of blood orange/campari that adds intrigue and complexity. Plenty of texture and mouthfeel from lees contact, elevating this to serious rose territory, finishing with a lick of spring water fresh acidity and punchy tension. Would happily sit alongside a bucket of fresh cooked prawns with Marie Rose sauce".

"This is a fascinating little wine that intrigues and teases before delivering a knockout punch. Pale pink in colour, it opens with watermelon and white strawberry aromas with sweet fresh raspberry in there too plus a little earthy touch. It then grows in the mouth with a textural feel and more savoury, pithy fruits. There’s a real Southern Rhone richness here, almost like a Bandol or Tavel, that you don’t often see in Australia that helps to drive it through to a long, mouth-filling finish. It’s a serious rosè that has the power to match up to grilled chicken with an avocado salsa".

"NASAA certified organic and biodynamic grenache, fermented in a concrete tulip with some whole berries before pressing to stainless before bottling. The palest of pinks in the glass with shades of blood orange, watermelon and white peach fruit with a splash of citrus, hints of soft spice, blossom and a whiff of amaro herbs and stone. Crisp and savoury with tangy acid drive and an awful lot of pourmeanotherglassness".
