“Blackberry, blueberry, lead pencil and moss. Iodine and sea shell. Full and layered with loads of fruit and spices. Crushed stone and oyster shell at the end. Unique red. Blend of 60% grenache, 20% shiraz and 20% mataro. Drink or hold.”

“Slight Play-Doh thing (which I like), spicy, perfumed, dark red fruit, boysenberry, smattering of brine and dried herb. Medium to full-bodied, stony feel to it, silty fine tannin is a highlight, finish pops nicely with a brighter shade of acidity. Good energy. Fine balance. Excellent and distinctive wine.”
